Cheyla and Josh’s wedding was definitely one for the books. It was one of the most relaxed wedding days ever. Everything was on time (if not ahead of schedule). Josh looked so handsome in his tux and Cheyla beautiful in her mom’s veil and her grandma’s pearls.
The forecast was calling for a scorcher of a day, don’t get me wrong it was warm, but with the amazing cloud coverage it was a lot cooler (bonus for amazing light during portraits). However I was a little sad that I didn’t think we were going to get any golden hour… but I was pleasantly proven wrong. Taking a few minutes during your reception for these images is always worth it.
There were so many laughs and maybe a few tears through out the day. The bridal party totally rocked portraits. The reception was amazing complete with cocktail hour, jazz music and appetizers (which were so yummy by the way) Oh and who could forget the cutest cookie bar.
The newly Mr. & Mrs. Nichols took their turn at the podium after supper and went straight into their first dance. A classic song for a classic couple. I loved it. You can’t go wrong with a little Elvis singing Falling in Love with You. It was perfectly choreographed by the amazing Ms Rhonda of Danceology.
Thank you to Josh, Cheyla, their families and friends for welcoming me into such an amazing day. I can’t wait to show off a few of my favourites.
Some images are just meant to be black and white.
We finished up early for portraits and the bridal party was hungry so we hit up Mc Donald’s and went back out and did some more portraits!!
