Oh friends, I am so excited to share with you Travis and Jillian’s engagement session (with a special appearance by Winston). This was the first night we had met in person. We’ve only chatted on the phone and email prior to their engagement session. I instantly fell in love with Jillian’s bubbly personality and Travis’s quiet demeanour.  I love traveling to different destinations to shoot, so when Jillian and Travis asked me to do their shoot in St. Albert I didn’t hesitate. Nothing inspires me more than a new location to shoot.

We started at the Library in St. Albert. Their grounds are stunning and that old train bridge was adorable. We then headed downtown to the very corner where Travis held Jillian’s hand for the first time… cue the aww’s.  I always encourage my clients to have two outfits, a casual and a dressy, it gives you variety in your images. Jillian did an excellent job on picking out their outfits. I loved the blush, which just happens to be their wedding colour and as you all know I LOVE pink. During the session Jillian casually mentioned to me that they don’t really like getting their picture taken… WHAT!!! They nailed their session. Take a look for yourself. I am so excited for their wedding in Camrose this September.

This has to be my favorite image. The very corner where Travis first held Jillian’s hand.

You two are so cute!!
