Engagement Photos on the Farm

So I have a confession to make… when I found out DJ and Jessie were engaged I secretly hoped they would reach out and ask me to photograph their wedding. You see I’ve known these two for a while. DJ has coached my son multiple years in hockey. So I did a little happy dance when Jessie inquired with me. These two are incredibly easy to be around, love to laugh and naturals in front of the camera. Which turned out to be a very good thing cause it was windy and COLD during their session. They easily melted into the poses which allowed us to move quickly so no one froze to death. We even managed to grab their dog Lola for a picture or two.

I can’t wait for their 2019 wedding, July surely will be warmer than their October engagement session. Enjoy some of my favorites and get excited about their wedding blog post next summer!
