Mckenzie Crossing Family Session

When Hillary contacted me this spring to book a fall family session and told me she wanted pictures down at Mckenzie Crossing it immediately put a smile on my face. Mckenzie crossing is beautiful at any time of year but the river valley is gorgeous during fall. However, this year, as we all know, mother nature hasn’t been so kind. It’s been cold, rainy and snowy. We rescheduled once because mother nature didn’t co-operate. The day before their session mother nature decided to give us a snow storm. Thankfully the weather smartened up and the sun came out, melted most of the snow and gave us decent weather.

The kids did awesome considered it was a bit chilly with the wind. We laughed and avoided the mud (well some of us did 😉 ) and we were able to capture some amazing family portraits. Thank you again Hillary and Mikael for a great afternoon.
