A Mid Summer’s Eve Maternity Session in the Meadow

There’s something so special about photographing a couple during three of the biggest milestone moments of their life (engagement, wedding and maternity) because we get to witness (first hand) a changing and growing love between them, and save it for generations to come.

They smile constantly and contagiously, because they’re so genuinely happy about life and in love with each other. It’s hopefully lovely to be around, in a refreshing kind of way. They’re thoughtful and generous with everyone around them. On their wedding day, from the people they knew to the people they didn’t, who were just there serving them for the day, they were so aware to look people in the eyes and graciously and sincerely say, “Thank you.”

Dustin and Katelyn, I feel simply honored that you’ve invited me to be part of your life for these precious, but fleeting moments. We hope you love looking back on these memories through my eyes as much as I’ve loved seeing them through our lens. Congratulations on the newest addition to your family and I can’t wait to meet the luckiest little baby.
