A Summer Engagement Session at McKenzie Crossing
So it started like this… I photographed Joe + Leanne’s wedding a few years ago. Then I was lucky enough to have the honor of photographing Joe’s brother Josh’s’ wedding. He married Melissa (Amie’s sister) and now I am honored to be invited back into the Roste family to photograph these two. It really is the highest honor as a wedding photographer.
When chatting about locations, Aimee said she has always wanted pictures on the blue bridge down at McKenzie Crossing. The day of their session it rained all day. By 5:00 the sun was shining and the birds were chirping. The grounds were a little muddy but we had amazing light, so it was worth the trade off.
We walked around the campsite, down the river and across the road for the perfect view of the river valley. These two were up for anything (including a little hike) It was worth all of the effort because we found gorgeous light and beautiful backdrops!
Enjoy this beautiful session! It was on a perfect summer evening and the light could not have been more amazing!!! You’ll see these here on the blog again Sept 2020!
