A Timeless Alberta Wedding at Home

When there is a 50% chance of a severe thunderstorm on your wedding day and it doesn’t rain AND the sun comes out you know your marriage is going to be blessed. But we already knew that. If you know DJ and Jessie’s parents you know they have amazing role models. This wedding was one of the funnest weddings I’ve had the privilege to photograph. Every part of their day was tailored to their personalities.

They were married in Jessie’s parents property overlooking the canola fields and rolling hills. DJ and Jessie read each other personalized vows, her’s including the 8 kids she plans on having and DJ promising to love those 8 kids even if they don’t love hockey. They spent their day soaking up every detail and enjoying their day and dancing the night away.
